Louisville, Ky. -- A Louisville woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she drunkenly asked an officer multiple times to take her to jail.
Pedia Turner, 34, approached an officer standing on S. 34th street and asked, "You are so f****** beautiful, will you please take me to jail?"
The officer immediately discerned that Turner was intoxicated after she slurred her words and failed to maintain her balance. According to the police report, her breath also smelled strongly of alcohol, and she was holding a liquor bottle.
After denying Turner's request, the officer asked her to stop walking into the street.
Turner then walked back across the street to approach the officer for a second time where she allegedly yelled at him, causing alarm and annoyance to patrons at Vermont Liquors, the address of which is listed as the place of arrest on the police report.
Turner took a swig from her liquor bottle before attempting to kiss the officer.
She pleaded with him again, saying, "You are so f****** sexy, I really want you to arrest me."
Turner's pants then fell to the ground around her ankles as the crowd gathered in front of the business watched, police noted in their report.
She is being charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
