LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police have arrested a local woman after responding to a domestic violence call.
Officers were dispatched to a home just off Dixie Highway because of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police discovered Elizabeth Aralston, 51, and her husband in their home.
Police said Aralston told officers that she and her husband got into an argument over the TV. During the dispute, Aralston's husband told her that he had been unfaithful and wanted to be with another woman.
Aralston then, according to police, slapped her husband in the face and then he slapped her back. Aralston then went to the kitchen to get a knife and held it up to her husband. He then went and retrieved a gun, but both put away their weapons.
Aralston is facing a 4th degree domestic violence charge as well as 1st degree wanton endangerment.
