LOUISVILLE, Ky.  --  Louisville police say they arrested a local gang member after a lengthy foot chase.

Louisville Metro Police Department says that Jacquan Crowley, 19, is known to many detectives and has been wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. Last Friday, July 5, police spotted Crowley on South 26th street.

According to police reports, detectives approached Crowley on the street and he immediately ran; a foot chase ensued. During the pursuit, Crowley entered a fenced yard, which is where police caught up with him.

Police say Crowley resisted detectives' attempts to handcuff him. He was shouting at the detectives, "F*** you! Kill me!" Police were able to eventually detain Crowley.

During the pursuit, Crowley crossed 26th Street and allegedly caused a passing driver to lose focus and wreck into a police car.

Crowley is facing multiple felony charges and even more misdemeanors.
