LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Metro Police arrested a Louisville couple Friday morning and are now facing several charges, including drug trafficking and endangering the welfare of a minor.
According to a police report, officers were called out to a domestic trouble dispatch around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from the apartment. Patrick Stoner, 28, and Audre Blakemore, 25, answered the door and gave police permission to enter the residence.
The room was filled with marijuana smoke and drug paraphernalia was in plain sight, according to police, and on the living room couch, the couple's 4-year-old daughter was sleeping with a bag of marijuana lying next to her. Officers say they also discovered a stolen loaded gun under the couch cushion where the child was sleeping, along with baggies of marijuana and common drug paraphernalia.
Stoner and Blakemore are charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, receiving stolen property and trafficking in marijuana.
