LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man is accused of breaking into a local business and stealing thousand's of dollars from vending machines.

According to police, Erik Crneta broke into a business in the 3700 block of Rickriegel Parkway in late October and destroyed three vending machines and a coin changer in order to access the cash inside.

Crneta then took $3,000 in cash and coins, according to police.

Crneta, who is a former employee of the business, was contacted by the business owner who claimed he was caught on camera committing the crime.  Crneta then told the owner he would "make it right" and that he couldn't get into anymore trouble.

The business owner told police he never heard from Crneta again.  Crneta has similar charges pending in court.
