LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man is facing charges after police said he assaulted a TARC bus operator.
Police said Devonte Snellen tried to catch up to a bus at the intersection of Market and 10th Street in Louisville on Saturday, but the bus did not stop. Snellen was able to run to the next bus stop and board the bus. That's when, according to police report, Snellen began yelling and cursing at the bus operator.
The driver reportedly told Snellen to get off the bus, but he refused. After the bus driver attempted to escort Snellen off the bus, Snellen reportedly attacked the driver, punching him in the face.
Police said the driver sustained cuts to his face and was bleeding.
Devonte Snellen is charged with assault.
