LMPD: Man locks brother out of home to cook meth

Ashley Plunkett and Ralph Dulak are charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested two people, 25-year-old Ashley Plunkett and 36-year-old Ralph Dulak, on March 25 after police said they were holed up in a home in the 4300 block of Whitmore Avenue cooking meth.

The man who leases the home was locked out by his brother, Ralph Dulak, on March 25. Dulak came to visit his brother because he is homeless and Dulak told his brother he was cooking meth, according to police. Dulak made threats to blow the home up and cut family members’ heads off, according to the police report.

According to police Dulak did let his brother in around 5:30 p.m. on March 25 and Dulak's brother saw Dulak wearing a gas mask.

Police said Kenny fled the scene and called police.

According to the police report Officers knocked several times before Dulak opened the door. Officers then searched the home, after Dulak’s brother gave consent.

Police said they found meth, syringes and a gas mask. They said there was also a chemical smell too.

Dulak and Plunkett are charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
