LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is facing multiple charges after police said he attacked his girlfriend.
According to the police report, Gregory Bibb, 27, was arguing with his live-in girlfriend in the 700 block of East Jacob Street about her waking him.
His girlfriend said he became violent and pinned her to the stove and hit her. In self-defense, she said she grabbed a knife off the counter and stabbed him once in the face.
Bibb then went into his room and returned with a loaded handgun, which he pointed at his girlfriend.
Officers said Bibb's mother convinced him to put the gun away, but he then attacked his girlfriend again by choking her.
His mother pulled him off his girlfriend and when she fled, he chased her and attacked her again.
Bibb then ran.
After police arrived on the scene and received consent to search the home, they reportedly found Bibb's handgun and marijuana packed for sale.
Bibb is facing charges of wanton endangerment, trafficking in marijuana, assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
