LOUISVILLE, Ky.  --  Police have arrested a local woman after she was allegedly shooting a handgun at a house.

According to LMPD, police responded to a report that DeShaunta Boyd, 37, was shooting at a house in the west end of Louisville. Upon arrival, police discovered that Boyd had fled the scene. Witnesses told police that she drove away yelling, "I'm going to get you locked up again" while waving a gun out the window of her car.

Police say that officers had made a similar run to this location earlier in the day when Boyd was driving through the neighborhood threatening people around the victim's house.

Witnesses informed police that it was likely Boyd returned to her home on Greenwood Ave. Police went to her address and found the vehicle she was said to be driving.

According to police reports, officers found a single 9mm shell casing on the car's floor board. Boyd is facing a 1st degree wanton endangerment charge.
