LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police have arrested a Louisville man after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and poured gasoline throughout the home.
According to police reports, Don Maurice Tinsley, 50, broke into his ex-girlfriends house in the early hours of Friday morning. He then proceeded to break many flat screen televisions in the house as well as computers, furniture and the backyard pool, police said.
Officers said that Tinsley then retrieved a gas can from the backyard shed. He reportedly poured gasoline throughout the house, including on the victim's bed. Tinsley proceeded to call his ex-girlfriend on the home phone.
There was an estimated $1,000 of property damage.
The victim told police that he had also beaten her and threatened to kill her the night before.
Tinsley is facing an arson charge and 2nd degree burglary.
