LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested 59-year-old Ronald Seals after they say he got into a verbal argument and assaulted a woman in the 150 block of Breckinridge Square on Jan. 30.

According to police Ronald Seals and the woman were in a verbal argument when the woman locked herself in her bedroom. Police said Seals kicked in the door and said, “Someone is going to die tonight!”

Police said the woman grabbed a knife to protect herself but Seals got it away from her and swung the knife.  According to the police report the woman sustained a cut to her stomach and her left hand.

Police said Seals stabbed the woman’s bed multiple times and started to punch the woman in the back of the  head. Seals also pulled the woman’s hair, according to police.

Seals took the woman’s phone so she couldn’t call police but she ran to a neighbor to call police, according to the police report.
