LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested 18-year-old Javon Hobson after they said he made numerous statements on his Twitter account that Doss High School students and staff were in danger.

According to the police report Hobson, a student at Doss High School, planned to put the school on “lockdown” on Thursday, March 20.

Police said Hobson tweeted, “Next Thursday, Doss High School will be getting locked down and I promise you that...”

Hobson responded to another student’s inquiry, through Twitter, by saying, “What’s already said don’t need to be explained.”

Police said Hobson also tweeted, “Drama eventually get you caught up and killed.”

The Twitter account was found to be Hobson’s by confirmation of students.

Hobson is charged with terroristic threatening in the second degree.
