LOUISVILLE, Ky.  --  Louisville detectives arrested two people who they said had approximately 50 lbs of marijuana during an alleged drug deal.

According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, Luis Calderon, an employee of Mango's Bar & Grill, met with Tiara Clayton in the back of the restaurant's parking lot. Detectives observed Clayton and Calderon both entered his vehicle.  The detectives approached the vehicle because of the strong stench of marijuana.

Police reports say that a verbal consent to search the car was given.  When the search began, the strongest smell of the drug was coming from the trunk where police found two bales of marijuana weighing an estimated 50 pounds.

Both Calderon, 28, and Clayton, 20, were arrested on June 24 and are charged with 1st offense of trafficking in marijuana.
