LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police have arrested three people after eight pounds of meth and drug paraphernalia were found in a hotel room in the 3300 block of Bardstown Road.

According to the police report 26-year-old Ricardo Morales, 21-year-old Brenda Buenrostro and 29-year-old Luis Villa where found loitering in a hotel parking lot in 3300 block of Bardstown Road. Buenrostro gave an officer consent to search a truck and police said they found a key to room #223.

Police said Morales was seen on camera carrying paraphernalia into that room.

A police officer was given consent to search the room and according to the police report eight pounds of meth and several items of paraphernalia used to crystallize meth were found. The meth’s estimated value is $150,000.

Ricardo, Buenrostro and Villa are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
