LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Jeffersonville, Ind. man was arrested in Louisville after police said he led them on a pursuit that started in Clarksville.
An arrest report says Mackensy Curry, 28, was being chased by Clarksville police early Sunday morning.
LMPD officers were notified of the chase and Curry eventually crossed the Clark Memorial Bridge. Police said he intentionally rammed a LMPD cruiser at the intersection of 2nd and Main streets in downtown.
Police said Curry then continued driving on Main Street at a high rate of speed and ran several red lights. Curry eventually slammed his car into a parked car. Curry's car then flipped and police were able to take him into custody.
Police said Curry smelled strongly of alcohol and admitted to drinking before the pursuit. He was reportedly fleeing from a domestic dispute call.
Mackensy Curry is charged with wanton endangerment, DUI, reckless driving and driving without a license.
