LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Shively Police arrested a Louisville man Sunday night after learning he was trying to solicit sex from a prostitute.

Officers carrying out an investigation in the parking lot at "Showboat," an adult book store, said they were given consent by a store patron to search and review his cell phone.

Police said text messages between the patron and one of the store's employees, Christopher Kinzie, 37, revealed Kinzie was asking to be set up with a female prostitute named "Star."

Kinzie is charged with promoting prostitution.
