LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville man escaped from a Western Kentucky correctional facility this morning and was apprehended a few hours later.
Kentucky State Police were notified that Jason Scott Arkenberg walked away from the Crittenden County Jail around 6:30 A.M.
He was serving a sentence for arson, fleeing police and receiving stolen property.
Police say Arkenberg was found around 3:30 P.M. just west of Marion, Kentucky.
He will be charged with escape, burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
