LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville woman accused of birthing her baby in the restroom of a Kohl's department store and disposing of the child in a garbage can will be placed on house arrest until her trial.

Jessica Price was in court Wednesday morning where Judge Olu Stevens granted a bond reduction. Stevens said he allowed the motion because Price is indigent and has no prior criminal history.

Price will be released from jail, but will be placed on home incarceration that she will serve at her parent's home in Shepherdsville.

Judge Stevens also ordered Price to stay away from children, as well as take her prescribed medication and follow up with treatment outside of the jail system.

She is due back in court Oct. 18 for a pretrial hearing.
