LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A teenager accused of shooting a 14-year-old last month has been arrested, that's according to a press release from Shively police.
The shooting happened October 28th, on Matheis Lane in Shively.
Raysean McDowell said he was walking from the bus stop to his aunt's home, when someone tried to rob him then shot him.
As he ran bleeding from door-to-door to get help, several people shut the door in his face.
McDowell was shot in the shoulder, neck and jaw, but continues to recover and is expected to survive.
The suspect isn't being identified, because he is a juvenile.
