Jeffersonville police bust meth lab on Clearstream Way

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- JJeffersonville police found thousands of dollars worth of meth inside a home on Clearstream Way.

After months of investigating, police served a warrant to the residence around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Ten grams of meth were found inside the home, there were also several more grams of meth cooking.

Twenty-three-year-old Nickolas Wedding was arrested, his girlfriend is being interviewed but has not been arrested at this time. Police say Wedding was a major meth distributor in Kentuckiana.

The meth bust happened close to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.

A child also lives in the home, but was not there when the search warrant was served.

Police also discovered a storage locker in Wedding’s name that hand a stolen gun and other items in it including stolen jewelry.

Wedding is charged with dealing and manufacturing methamphetamines in 1,000 feet of a school. He also faces several other charges.
