LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Breckenridge Metro High School student was arrested at school Thursday after police said he got out of control.

According to the arrest report, it all started when 18-year-old Terrell Q. Gray was  in class when he became angry and threw papers at a teacher.

An assistant principal walking by the classroom witnessed the incident. Police said the assistant principal went into the room and asked Gray to pick up the papers. Gray refused and said "bro, stop yelling."

Gray was then escorted out of the room, police said, and once outside the classroom "he turned with fist balled ans swung at staff member." Other staff members stepped in and restrained Gray.

Police said Gray was out of control by this time and continued to yell at staff members.

Gray is charged with 3rd degree assault.
