LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Parents of Jefferson County Public Schools students will find out Friday if their child was on the bus that is at the center of a groping investigation.

Letters will be sent home to parents after police arrested a 15-year-old Pleasure Ridge Park High School student accused of inappropriately touching female students.

Police said the teen assaulted five female students, aged 14 to 17, on a school bus and the abuse has been ongoing throughout the school year.

None of the students have been identified, but we do know the alleged suspect is facing 19 counts of inappropriate sexual conduct.

JCPS officials said the district’s code of conduct calls for a recommended punishment of placement in an alternative school and long term suspension.
