INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Indianapolis police say a 21-year-old man went to his ex-girlfriend's apartment and fatally shot her new 17-year-old boyfriend.
Police spokesman Officer Kendale Adams says police got a call about 5 a.m. Sunday and found Bryan Vizuet dead from repeated gunshots.
Adams says witnesses report seeing 21-year-old Brad Davis run from the area.
Police then went to the home of the suspect's parents. While police were there, they say Davis called and asked his mother to meet him at another location.
Adams says police went to that location and took the Indianapolis man into custody.
Davis is under arrest on a murder charge. Adams says Davis has requested a lawyer but says he doesn't know the lawyer's name.
