A Greenwood, Indiana man is in jail on accusations that he knowingly and intentionally spread the AIDS virus to hundreds of women.
A SWAT team arrested Tony Perkins Friday night on a felony charge including one count of intimidation.
Investigators say Perkins used the web site PlentyofFish.com to find the majority of his victims.
But police didn't know about the case until one of Perkins’s ex-girlfriends came forward despite allegedly receiving death threats from Perkins.
She did not want her identity revealed.
“Maybe I was the angel to stop the anti-Christ. His quotes were, ‘a whore gave it to me, so if a whore wants to sleep with me on the first night, she deserves what she gets,’” said Perkins’ ex-girlfriend.
Perkins is in a Johnson County, Indiana jail on a $9000 bond.
