LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The man at the center of a suspected deadly road rage case has been denied the chance to have his bond lowered.

Donald Hayes has been arguing to have his bond lowered and around 3 p.m. on Thursday, a judge decided to keep it at $50,000.

The 67-year-old is charged with murder in the shooting death of Danny Wilson off of Poplar Level Road.

Hayes is very well known by those in the judicial center, as he has been running a hot dog stand outside the courthouse for decades.
