(WHAS11) -- Friends and co-workers are remembering 46-year-old Michelle Hahn after the mother of two boys was gunned down and killed in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Hahn worked at WireCrafters for the last five years as the Human Resources Manager, but to many she meant much more.

"She was just a good natured person. Very easy to talk to...ready to listen," Hahn's co-worker Charles Burris said.

Another person had more to say about Hahn.

"She was the nicest person you could ever meet. You couldn't say anything bad about her. She was so sweet," Brandon Green said.

Hahn was killed Saturday as she put groceries in her car by 44-year-old Charles Fickentsher. The two dated. The shock of Hahn's tragic death is still sinking in for those who knew her.

"How could something like that happen to someone you know personally? It's just unbelievable. It shouldn't happen to a person like that. It shouldn't happen to anybody. She was such a good person," Hahn's co-worker Billy Adams said.

Funeral arrangements for Hahn are being handled by McFarland Troutman Profitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington.
