LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Former McMahan fire chief Paul Barth will be spending Christmas in prison.
According to his attorney, Barth will be reporting to an Eastern Kentucky Federal Prison on Thursday.
Barth is heading to the medium security facility in Manchester, Kentucky, located about three hours from Louisville.
He will serve three years and five months for stealing nearly $200 thousand meant for the WHAS Crusade for Children.
Barth has not yet paid restitution, even though he recently purchased a home with $260 thousand, in cash.
