LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A former employee of Louisville club has been arrested after police say she assaulted her manager, who had just fired her.
According to police, Serena Gilmore was fired from Diamonds Cabaret in Shively by her manager. Police say Gilmore refused to leave the bar when asked, grabbed her managers hair and slammed her head down onto the bar. She then took out a glass and hit the woman with that glass.
The victim was transported to University Hospital, where doctors found glass in his scalp.
Gilmore is charged with assault.
