LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A string of fast food armed robberies continues as there was another hold up at a McDonald’s Tuesday morning.

Officials said on Tuesday, July 29, there are about four cases they believe to be connected: a July 4 holdup at a Jeffersontown Wendy's, a July 16 robbery of a Middletown Dairy Queen, a July 23 robbery of a Newburg McDonald's and a robbery of the East End McDonald's Tuesday morning.

The number of suspects in each case differs from one to three, but in all four of these cases the suspects have been completely covered from head to toe.

The LMPD and Jeffersontown Police did emphasize these suspects do have a habit of displaying violence; including firing shots into the ceiling of the businesses. So far no one has been seriously injured in any of the robberies.

McDonald's restaurants of Kentuckiana released a statement Tuesday afternoon saying the safety of their customers and crew is a top priority. And they are working with authorities in support of the ongoing investigation.
