BAGDAD, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The sheriff's office in Bagdad Kentucky got a call Thursday morning of a bank robbery and bomb threat.
Tellers say a gentleman left a box at the Citizens Union Bank in Bagdad and portrayed it as a bomb. Police say he had a firearm as well.
The immediate area was evacuated and bomb techs were called to the scene. They confirmed that it was not actually a bomb and the scene was clear by around 1:30 p.m.
