LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two people arrested Tuesday in a SWAT team drug bust operation in South Louisville faced a judge Wednesday morning.
The bust happened in the 1300 block of Larchmont Avenue not far from Churchill Downs. Police seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana and $17,000 from the home along with several other items.
Police said they were expecting to find a suspect with violent past and that’s why the SWAT team was used in the operation. Police did arrest two people, but the high-risk suspect was not found.
Terry Rigsby and Adrian Cook were taken into custody and charged with three counts each of drug trafficking.
