LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville detectives have arrested two people after pursuing suspected local meth dealers.
According to LMPD, detectives working meth investigations observed a car make a brief stop and pick up their main target, Patrick Williams, 37. The car was pulled over for speeding, going 25 mph over the posted limit.
The driver of the vehicle had no license or proof of insurance and admitted to police that he had half of a marijuana joint in his possession. Police found a joint as well as a meth snorting straw and many assorted pills.
Williams was informed by police of the nature of the investigation and agreed to cooperate and police said he signed a consent form. Williams told police where all of the items of his meth lab were in his residence.
Police took Williams into custody and went to his listed residence. Detectives found ingredients to produce meth, drug paraphernalia as well as finished meth.
They also discovered a sleeping Jaclyn Brewer, 31. Police found methamphetamine in her purse as well as many unidentified pills.
Both Williams and Brewer are charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
