Deputy Sheriffs indicted for marijuana possession

Two Washington County Deputy Sheriffs have found themselves on the other side of the law.

A federal grand jury has indicted 42-year-old Norris Wayne Bartley and 41-year-old Billy Joe Mattingly.

Kentucky State Police arrested the two for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and carrying a firearm during a crime.

If convicted,the two could face five years in jail and thousands of dollars in fines.

Bartley and Mattingly are scheduled to be in court February 16th.
