LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Court documents reveal more about a former Kentucky juvenile justice employee who was allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a boy she counseled at a group home.

According to the documents, the teenager told police that 44-year-old Gerri Mesmer told him if he had sex he could get out of juvenile custody sooner.

In surveillance video taken at the detention center, the two were allegedly recorded holding hands.

The alleged offenses occurred between August 7th and August 18th.

Mesmer's termination by the state became official on Tuesday.
