CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A tip leads police to a home in Clarksville, Ind. with dozens of marijuana plants growing inside and outside.

It happened in the 200 block of Altra. The homeowner, Dwayne Price, was arrested. Police also want to talk to his wife.

Investigators say they were tipped off to the grow operation by a confidential informant. Sixty plants were found in all. Some were in the backyard and others in the garage.

Authorities say they don't often see grow operations like that outside.

"You don’t see many of that at least here recently...most of the time they are inside where it is concealed,” Major Darrell Rayborn, Clarksville Police Department, said.

Police say the plants have a total value of $80 to $100,000. The grow operation had lamps and a filtration system, according to police.
