LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Butler High School student is facing charges after police say she stole a teacher's debit and credit card numbers.

Tashana Litton, 18, was arrested at school on Tuesday morning, March 11.

According to her arrest report, Litton was a student mentor of a teacher at nearby Shaffner Elementary and used the teacher's card numbers to buy items and send them to her own house.

The teacher found out after getting a call from her bank.

Police say Litton admitted to taking the numbers and making the purchases.

She's charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
