LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man has been arrested and his wife may be facing charges after two burglaries on Manslick Road back in March.
According an arrest report, 39-year-old Jason E. Brewer was caught on surveillance video March 5 breaking into the a home on the 5700 bock of Manslick Road.
Police said the video shows Jason Brewer's wife, Melissa, driving a gold Nissan Maxima, drop him off in the driveway. It also shows him enter the residence through a back window and Melissa Brewer driving back and forth in front of the home while the couple communicated by two-way radio.
The report states Jason Brewer also made entry to another home on the same street.
Police said he broke into a home on the 6500 block of Manslick Road March 27. Two juveniles were in the home at the time of the break-in. Police said Jason Brewer left the scene and got into a vehicle which witnesses described as a gold Nissan Maxima.
Jason Brewer was brought in for questioning. Police said when detectives left the interview room, Jason Brewer opened the door and ran out. He made it to the exit doors before he was caught by another detective entering the building.
Jason Brewer is charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of trafficking in controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree escape, theft, fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, failure to or improper signal and theft by unlawful taking. He was also served with three bench warrants.
Melissa Brewer was not arrested. She was cited and police said they expect more charges to come.
