LOUISVILLE, Ky. --  A Louisville man was arrested after a shootout in a While Castle parking lot Saturday evening.

Police said two men were firing shots at each other at 4:30 Saturday evening at the White Castle in the 2700 block of Fern Valley Road.

When officers arrived, they found Antonio Shelton sitting inside his car armed with a Ruger handgun.

Shelton told police he was robbed while conducting a drug deal with an unknown man.  Shelton admitted to police that he and the other man exchanged gunfire while other people were in the parking lot.  Shelton's cousin, who was in the vehicle, received minor injuries.

Police said at least 19 rounds were fired in the parking lot.

Police searched Shelton's car and found 710 prescription pills including Lortabs, Xanax, Ecstasy and many others.

Shelton is charged with wanton endangerment and trafficking a controlled substance.
