CANEYVILLE, Ky. (News Release) – Two people were arrested Saturday night after an anonymous tip led police to two meth labs at a Caneyville, Kentucky home.
At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, two officers responded to the 3000 block of Yeaman Road in Caneyville to follow up on an anonymous tip of a possible meth lab. Upon arrival, the officers noticed several items outside the residence that were consistent with items used in the manufacturing of meth.
A search warrant was obtained and the subsequent search of the property revealed two 1-step meth labs. One complete lab was located inside the home in a garbage can and 1 incomplete lab was located in another building. Two grams of finished product, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were also found.
John H. Embry, 36, and Peggy Embry,37, were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are being held in the Grayson County Detention Center.
