LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville restaurant employee was arrested after police said he took a sledgehammer to his boss' car as retaliation for a reprimand.
Police said Daniel Price, 39, arrived to his job at Henry's Place Restaurant on Brownsboro Road, and after his manager disciplined him for allegedly being intoxicated, he left the restaurant, returning later with a sledgehammer, which he used to attack his manager's car as well as that of the restaurant owner.
A diner at the restaurant witnessed the act and alerted the manager.
As Price drove away, the same witness saw his license plate number, and the car was later confirmed as registered to Price, police wrote in their report.
Following the incidents, Price called the owner of the restaurant, threatening to kill him, police said.
Estimated damage to the manager's car is more than $1,000.00.
Daniel Price is charged with criminal mischief and terroristic threatening.
