(WHAS11) -- Several of Louisville’s murder cases have now been solved with the indictment of 5 people.  One of the suspects is known to have gang ties.

Donteze Stephenson and Dominic Harrison are charged with murdering Jahara Walters in 2004.

Stephenson is known to have connections with the Victory Park Crips.  A gang that was known for violence and rose to infamy in the 1990’s in Louisville.  Stephenson was charged with murdering 17 year old Darryl Head in 2006.  One of the only murders in recent history that Louisville Metro Police is specifically linked to gang activity.

Wesley Bohner and William Parker were also indicted yesterday.  They are charged in connection with the murder of Rodney Bethel in 2001 in Victory Park while he was at a pay phone.

Bohner, Parker, Harrison and Stephenson are all known associates of each other.

A grand jury also indicted Jason Amos for the murder of Robert Stewart in April of this year in the 700 block of Hancock Street.

Amos is not a known associate of the other suspects.
