LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Four men from out of state are behind bars in Kentucky after a traffic stop near Cane Run Road and Interstate 264 Monday.

According to court documents, 50-year-old Lewis Saale of Kansas City, Kan., 33-year-old Abraham Gallegos of Olathe, Kan., 29-year-old Daniel Hindman of Kansas city, Mo. and 32-year-old Joseph Shurgrue Of Kansas City, Mo. were traveling along I-264 when officers stopped the car for speeding.

Police said the driver, Shurgrue, was doing 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. When deputies asked for identification, they said Shugrue gave them a suspended Missouri operators license.

Deputies then deployed a trained narcotics K9 who they said alerted handlers to a tool box in the bed of the truck where they found 10 pounds of crystal meth.
