LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested four people in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Tysha Spearman last summer.
According to a police report, 28-year-old Cephus Gore was arrested Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Police said Gore's actions on June 11, 2012 "resulted in the death of the victim and created a substantial risk of physical injury or death to numerous others."
Police said witnesses at the scene said Gore was at the location when Spearman was shot and he had a handgun which he fired multiple times.
Another man, 21-year-old Antonio McFarland, was arrested just days after Spearman was shot in the alley between 18th and Crop streets.
Cecil Spearman and Regina Williams have also been arrested in this case.
Police say Spearman and McFarland were shooting at each other and the 15-year-old got caught in the middle.
Williams was originally a witness but then arrested by police who say she encouraged the shootout.
All four defendants have been charged with murder, wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence. The three alleged shooters have also been charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
