LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is behind bars after he was arrested Wednesday in connection with a convenience story robbery.
Police issued a warrant for 20-year-old Xavier A. Thomas Jan. 11 after an investigation into a robbery at the Speedy Mart on S. Hurstbourne Parkway.
According to court records, Thomas walked around the parking lot, acting as a look-out, while another man went into the store armed with a gun and demanded money. The cashier gave the man money and he fled along with Thomas.
Police did not name the other man in the warrant, but said he told officers Thomas "acted as look-out and cased the store prior to" the robbery. Police said the un-named man also told them he split the money with Thomas.
Police have video surveillance of the incident.
Thomas is charged with 1st degree robbery.
