2 Doss students arrested following robbery at school

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Two Doss High School students are facing charges after police said they forced another student into a bathroom and stole more than $500 worth of items from him.

According to the arrest warrant, on on Jan. 11, 2013, Reginald Grinter and an unnamed juvenile co-defendant forced the victim into the bathroom and stole a phone worth $599 and $94 in cash.

The mother of the victim informs WHAS11 News that the incident actually occurred on Wed. Jan. 8, 2014.

Police said the two suspects fled the school grounds following the incident.

The incident was caught on school surveillance cameras and police were able to make arrests Thursday.

While being taken into custody, Grinter allegedly threatened the officer, saying he would stomp the officer's head into the ground and he would kill the officer once he was out of jail.  He also allegedly used racial slurs against the officer.

Grinter is charged with robbery, theft and terroristic threatening.
