ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police say a pizza delivery driver was injured during an attack Thursday night in south St. Louis.

According to reports, the driver was in the 7100 block of Virginia when two men approached her. The victim told police the suspects hit her in the face with bricks two times and knocked her down. Police said this all happened outside a home that was listed for sale.

The driver, who works at Pizza Milano on South Grand, suffered a facial injury in the attack. Officials said the suspects did not take anything from the victim.

Police said the victim was not able to provide significant details regarding the description of the suspects.

Neighbors told News 4 a Cecil Whittaker's delivery driver was attacked at the same location Monday night.

An investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the recent attack is asked to call authorities.
