Suspects arrested after attempted carjacking near UofL

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The University of Louisville Police and LMPD arrested two suspects accused of an attempted armed carjacking at the Clubhouse Apartments near campus.

Two UofL students, the alleged victims, fled the scene unharmed and met with campus police to report the incident.

Based on the description given by the students, police were able to arrest both suspects near campus at 4th and Winkler Ave. They were in a vehicle that had ben reported stolen by armed robbery.

The gunman, Seth Irkoze, 18, was arrested on charges of robbery, wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
