LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a 17-year-old was found dead in a vacant home in the Shelby Park neighborhood.
Police say they responded to the 400 block of Camp Street around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The male victim, later identified as 17-year-old Rob’Vieon D’Sean Evans, suffered a gunshot wound.
There are no suspects or arrests at this time.
This investigation marks the city's 100th homicide for the year. This is the first time the city has seen back to back years with 100 or more homicides.
