Radcliff police make arrest in murder case

RADCLIFF, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Radcliff mother of four was found dead Tuesday, her boyfriend is charged with the murder.

Police say 33-year-old Brian Woods turned himself in at the Radcliff Police Department Tuesday night, confessing to killing his girlfriend, 32-year-old Maria Williams.

Woods was arraigned in Hardin County Court Wednesday morning on the murder charge.  A judge set his bond at $1 million.

Police say Woods killed Williams inside their home on Congress Drive.  The arrest citation says officers found her body with “multiple apparent injuries.”

Woods is being held at the Hardin County Detention Center and is due back in court on April 14 for a preliminary hearing.
