Ohio Co. pair charged after assaulting state troopers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An Ohio County man and woman are facing charges after assaulting troopers, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers were trying to serve a warrant to 24-year-old Jeremiah Gaddis and 18-year-old Ashton Feher at a home on McCreary Court in Hartford, Kentucky on Saturday.

Troopers made contact with Gaddis and Feher but say when they were securing them in the cruiser to be transported to the Ohio County Detention Center, Feher kicked a trooper. While she was being restrained, Gaddis kicked a Hartford police officer while attempting to get out of the cruiser.

Feher and Gaddis are charged with third-degree assault against a police officer and resisting arrest. Gaddis was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.

Both are booked at the Ohio County Detention Center.
